About Me

My background includes 8 Years as a Managing Partner and Chair of Partners at national commercial law firm Kemp Strang (now part of Thomson Geer) as well as more than 10 years Board Experience, and over 30 years as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court.

My broad experience includes contractual disputes, shareholder and partnership disputes, insolvency, banking, misleading and deceptive conduct and farm debt mediation. I gained specialist expertise in insolvency and restructuring law, and have been fortunate to be recognised with industry awards in this area.

I am a strategic thinker who can tackle complex issues and then present them in an engaging, clear and accessible way. A key skill is my ability to drive productive discussion and consensus within diverse groups. In my experience a well-run mediation, where the quality conversations are had and each side fully understands each other, represents the best prospect of resolving a dispute on terms that each party can live with and where the parties can retake control of their lives and businesses. This is why I put my experience and knowledge to work as a mediator.
